Navi Mumbai: Church of God (Full Gospel) in India, Central West Region, City Revival Church of God, Kamothe. A three-day Vacation Bible School (VBS) and fellowship programme for children, organized under the leadership of City Revival Church of God, Kamothe, Navi Mumbai, in association with the Church of God (Full Gospel) in India, Navi Mumbai District, concluded in a blessed manner. The programme was held from September 17 to 19 at the Kamothe Assembly of Believers Church Hall, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.
The theme of this year’s VBS was “Chosen Generation – Called for a Purpose.” Based on the themes of being chosen, called, and sent by God for His divine purpose, special Bible classes and various spiritual activities were conducted throughout the three days.
The children’s fellowship began with prayer led by District Pastor Mathew Samuel. Along with Bible study classes, the programme included songs, action songs, games, missionaries’ life stories, and inspiring messages, providing the children with spiritual encouragement and a joyful and meaningful experience.
The VBS was conducted under the leadership of Pastor Jixen James, with Sister Blessy Jixen serving as the VBS Director. CRK COG Choir, along with Sisters Sharon and Sherin and Brothers Abel and Sarvesh, led the worship songs and action songs.
The teaching ministry was carried out by Brothers Daniel, Rohith, Sushanth, Selvan, and Abel, and Sisters Vijitha, Sharon, Blessy, and Kesia. The CRK COG team also coordinated various departments, including volunteer services, transportation, media, food and refreshments, arts and crafts, and the safety and care of the children.
More than 100 children from various churches in Navi Mumbai participated in the three-day VBS. The programme contributed significantly to the spiritual growth of the children and helped strengthen their foundation in the Word of God.
On the concluding day, Pastor V. O. Varghese delivered a special mission message focusing on God’s calling, divine election, and the fact that God sends His people to accomplish His work. The message helped the children gain a deeper understanding of God’s purpose for their lives. As a result, many children made decisions to dedicate their lives to the Lord and to His work.
During the closing session, the children shared their experiences and blessings received through the VBS. Certificates and gifts were then distributed to all the participating children.
Pastors Mathew Samuel, Shibu Mathew, Blassan Daniel, and Manharlal were present at the concluding session.
With the goal of nurturing Christian faith and developing a commitment to God’s calling among children through Bible study, worship, and fellowship, the VBS organized by City Revival COG, Kamothe, became a significant step toward preparing the next generation to live for Christ.
