Bareilly District Pastors’ Family Seminar and Farewell Ceremony Held

The Bareilly District Pastors’ Family Seminar and the Farewell Ceremony for the District Pastor of the Church of God (Full Gospel) were held successfully on July 28, 2026.
The program was presided over by District Pastor Rev. Sabu Thomas. On this occasion, Rev. Sanjay Alwin, Administrative Assistant for Uttar Pradesh State, felicitated the pastors and their families and encouraged them to remain faithful in the service of the Lord.
The keynote speaker for the seminar was Rev. M. P. Gautham, Evangelism Director, Church of God – Central West Region. Speaking on the theme, “How Can a Minister’s Family Become a Model for the Church?”, he expounded from Joshua 24:15, emphasizing that a God-fearing and faithful minister’s family not only becomes a blessing to the local church but also leaves a lasting spiritual legacy for future generations.
He further encouraged ministers’ families to become examples to believers through their Christlike character, family unity, prayerful lives, holiness, and faithful Christian witness. His inspiring message challenged and encouraged all the families present to renew their commitment to serving the Lord wholeheartedly.
A farewell ceremony was also held in honor of Rev. Sabu Thomas, District Pastor of the Bareilly District. Ministers and believers expressed their heartfelt appreciation for his dedicated leadership, faithful ministry, and invaluable contributions to the district. They also prayed for God’s continued guidance and blessings upon him as he takes up his future responsibilities.
During the same gathering, Rev. Prem Joel officially assumed charge as the District In-charge of the Bareilly District. Ministers and church members prayed for him and expressed their confidence that God would use his leadership to further strengthen and expand the ministry throughout the district.
The seminar also provided an excellent opportunity for pastors’ families to enjoy meaningful fellowship, share ministry experiences, and strengthen their spiritual bonds. The event proved to be a memorable and inspiring occasion, contributing significantly to the spiritual growth, family enrichment, and effective ministry of the pastors and their families.
