Bethel Prayer Hall Dedicated to the Glory of God
Pune: The newly constructed Bethel Prayer Hall, built under the leadership of Pastor Vijay Thalore for the Church of God at Patel Wadi, Belapur, in the Pune Marathi District, was dedicated to the glory of God by Regional Overseer Pastor E. P. Samkutty on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

The dedication service was held under the chairmanship of Pune Marathi District Pastor Chandrashekhar Salokhe. Delivering the inaugural message, Regional Overseer Pastor E. P. Samkutty emphasized that God’s house should always remain a sacred place for prayer, worship, and the spiritual fellowship of God’s people. He further emphasized that, through this church, many would come to experience the love, goodness, and saving grace of Jesus Christ.
Pastors Chandrahas Pillai, Santosh Waghmare, Badri Prasad, Jayaprakash Rode, Peter Shelar, Christudas, Ashok, Satish, Shivaji, and Shailesh participated in various parts of the service and conveyed their greetings. The choir, led by Pastor Santosh Waghmare, ministered in song during the dedication service.
Expressing his gratitude, the local church pastor, Pastor Vijay Thalore, thanked everyone who generously contributed land, financial support, and other assistance toward the construction of the prayer hall. He has faithfully served in this area for the past 25 years.

May God’s people continue to uphold this congregation and its ministries in prayer, that the Lord may use this church for the advancement of His Kingdom and the blessing of many.
