Church of God (Full Gospel) in India, Mumbai Eastern District YPE Youth Fellowship Held Successfully

Kalyan: The Youth Fellowship organized by the YPE of the Mumbai Eastern District, Central West Region, was held with great spiritual blessing on July 26 at 5:00 p.m. at the Church of God, Kadesh Bhavan, Kalyan East.

The meeting was presided over by District YPE President, Pastor Sam T. Thomas, and commenced with prayer by Pastor P. C. Sunny. The youth of the Church of God, Kadesh Bhavan, Kalyan East, led the congregation in a meaningful time of worship through inspiring songs.

This was followed by prayer by Pastor Mathews Philip and YPE Secretary of Thakurli. District YPE Secretary Stanley Samuel extended a warm welcome to the gathering.

In his presidential address, based on Isaiah 60:1, Pastor Sam T. Thomas encouraged the youth, emphasizing that God has called His people to “arise and shine” even in the midst of darkness.

Representing the youth, Dr. Jestina Merin John shared a devotional message from 1 Peter 2:9, reminding the congregation that believers are God’s chosen and holy people. Followed by the prayer by Pastor Biju M. G.

The keynote message was delivered by Pastor Manu K. Chacko on the theme, “An Intimate Life with Jesus.” He emphasized that when Jesus Christ becomes the greatest desire of one’s life, a deeper personal relationship with Him is developed, leading to genuine spiritual growth and maturity.

Pastor Paul Raj presented a brief review of the meeting, and Joint Secretary Shruthi Mohan Raj expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the fellowship. The gathering concluded with the prayer and benediction by District Pastor Johnson Thomas.

Approximately 75 young people from 12 churches across the district participated in the fellowship. The organizers stated that the gathering served as a source of spiritual encouragement, inspiring the youth toward deeper Christian commitment and spiritual growth.
