Church of God in India Navi Mumbai District Common Worship Service

MUMBAI: The Common Worship Service of the Church of God in India, Navi Mumbai District, was held with great blessings at the Lottery Club Hall, Kantha Colony, Panvel. The service commenced with prayer at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 21, under the chairmanship of District Pastor Mathew Samuel. Pastor Jixson James led the congregation in worship, and Pastor V. O. Varghese delivered a devotional message from the Psalms. The chief guest of the meeting, Regional Overseer Pastor E. P. Samkutty, ministered the Word of God based on Hebrews 2:1–4, exhorting the congregation from the Scriptures. Other ministers from the District also participated and contributed to various aspects of the service. More than 250 believers attended the worship gathering. During the meeting, awards were presented to students from the District who achieved outstanding results in the Grade 10 and Grade 12 public examinations. Students who excelled in the Region’s Centralized Sunday School examinations were also recognized and honored. The vote of thanks was delivered by Treasurer Brother Sijumon. The service concluded with prayer and the benediction pronounced by the Regional Overseer.
