South Delhi District Holds Two-Day Fasting Prayer Meeting.

New Delhi: A two-day fasting and prayer meeting organized by the South Delhi District was held blessedly on August 7 and 8 at the Hauz Khas Church Hall.

District Pastor Pr. Robimon P. Joshua inaugurated the meeting, emphasizing the importance of fasting and prayer in the present times and drawing lessons from the prayer and fasting of Nehemiah.

During the first two sessions, Pr. Mathew (Wayanad) ministered the Word of God from 1 Peter 1:13. In the following three sessions, the chief guest, Rev. Mahavir Prasad Gautam, Regional Evangelism Director, ministered from Joshua 24:15 on the theme, “As for Me and My Family, We Will Serve the Lord.”

Servants of God Pr. Binoji Varghese, Pr. Sujith P. Joseph, Pr. Sanu T. Mathew, Pr. Alex Kutty Jacob, Pr. Shiju K. Daniel, Pr. Shibu Baby, and Pr. Philip Sam Ninan led various sessions. Pr. Shaji K. Chirayil, Pr. Jacob Cherian, and Bro. P. K. Sasi translated the messages.

The two-day fasting and prayer meeting became a time of blessing and spiritual renewal for the believers who participated from various churches across the district.

District Secretary Bro. Sunil Robert Thomas delivered the vote of thanks. The meeting concluded with prayer by Pastors’ Secretary Pr. Binoji Varghese and the benediction by District Pastor Pr. Robimon P. Joshua.
